This site is not made for phone scrolling - if you're on mobile, come on back later when you're at a computer.

Welcome! This website is a digital garden comprised of thoughts, sounds, and snapshots from a blessed life. It has lots of links, because I want to encourage some good old fashioned web-surfing. Click around and eventually off of my site in an interesting direction and forge a pathway through the internet - you could start here with this cool website that isn't mine.

Digital gardens are living journals, not polished blogs. That said, I'm no journalist. Everything here is a fraction of baked, open to discussion, and subject to growth. It's written for me, but you're welcome to see. Working with the garage door open is the most apt definition I've come across - I'll link to whoever came up with that when I come across it again.

Here is an expanding grid of the topics I've posted about:

Posthumanism Making Sound

About

Professionally I'm a junior high STEM teacher and career educator. I work in alternative education. In addition to teaching / admin-ing, I manage school makerspaces and facilitate youth social innovation labs. I might explore these things in my garden, but, in general, I'm the work-to-live type. When I'm living, I'm making stuff & sounds, playing music, enjoying the outdoors, looking for God's light in sundry places, eating good vegetarian food, being around awesome people, and enjoying simple domesticity with my beautiful partner.
